mrr R.L.M. (Roosmarijn) Meulman studied Law at the University of Groningen, where she obtained both a Master’s degree in Criminal Law and in Private Law. During her studies, she gained practical experience within the legal profession and the judiciary.

Before joining JKR Advocaten, mr. Meulman worked for several years as a court clerk in the criminal law division of the District Court of Noord-Nederland and the District Court of Amsterdam. In this role, she was involved in numerous (complex) criminal cases. Through this experience, she has developed a strong understanding of how judges assess cases, which she uses to achieve the best possible results for her clients.

She is a committed and driven lawyer who acts decisively. Her approach is characterized by clear communication, precision, and the ability to quickly get to the core of a case. Since August 2025, mr. Meulman has been working at JKR Advocaten. She handles general criminal law cases, including drug and violent offences, sexual offences, and property crime. In addition, she represents clients in traffic cases and driving licence proceedings.
