Fenna van den Brink obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and her Master’s degree in Criminal Law (cum laude) from Utrecht University. During her studies, she gained experience within the legal profession, at the Public Prosecution Service, and at the Scientific Bureau of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands.
Fenna began her career as a senior court clerk at the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, where she worked for several years on various types of criminal cases, including juvenile cases and large-scale (complex) cases. She subsequently worked for some time as a lawyer at a law firm in Rotterdam, where she handled cases in the field of financial and economic criminal law.
Since March 2023, she has been working at Jansen Kneepkens Rijnsburger Advocaten, where Fenna runs a broad litigation practice with an emphasis on general criminal law cases, such as offences under the Road Traffic Act, sexual offence cases, and violent and drug-related crimes.
In addition, mr. Van den Brink specializes in juvenile criminal law and regularly represents minors in criminal proceedings. mr. Van den Brink is a member of the Dutch Association of Young Criminal Defence Lawyers (NVJSA).
