Eva van den Bos has been practicing as a criminal defence lawyer since 2008. During and after her legal training, she worked for several years at the specialized criminal law firm Nooitgedagt Slijters & Van der Horst Advocaten in Amsterdam, after which she founded her own firm in 2013. As of 1 April 2023, Eva has entered into a cooperation with JKR Advocaten pursuant to Article 5.3(b) of the Voda.
In her current practice, Eva represents both adult and juvenile suspects in a wide range of minor and serious criminal cases, including allegations of violent and property offences, fraud and money laundering cases, as well as offences under the Opium Act and the Weapons and Ammunition Act. She also handles cases concerning the confiscation of unlawfully obtained gains and is involved in penitentiary law matters for detained clients.
In addition, Eva serves as a deputy judge in criminal law at the District Court of Rotterdam and within the family and youth division of the District Court of North Holland.
She is fluent in English and French.
In the register of legal practice areas of the Netherlands Bar Association, mr. Van den Bos has registered the field of criminal law. This registration obliges her to obtain ten continuing education credits in this field each calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Netherlands Bar Association.
mr. Van den Bos is affiliated with JKR Advocaten as a self-employed lawyer and operates exclusively through her sole proprietorship, Van den Bos Advocatuur.
